Appointments
Self-book & manage your bookings
We are working with Zymego to make it easier for our patients to manage appointments digitally – 24/7, directly from your phone or computer. No app needed.
- Self-book for select services: You can self-book appointments for some services, such as blood tests, health checks & vaccinations, directly via Zymego. Log in using NHS login.
- Reschedule, cancel, or get notified of earlier slots Need to reschedule or cancel? Or would you prefer an earlier appointment than the one you already have? Simply sign up to get notified when an earlier slot becomes available, and log in to view and accept the offer. Log in using NHS login.
Please don’t be offended if you are asked what the problem is when you ring to book an appointment.
This is called Care Navigation and it’s about helping you get to the service you need!
Urgent On The Day Appointments
These appointments are prioritised for patients with urgent needs. To book a consultation, please call reception after 8:30am and you will be offered a slot if any are available. Note: It may not always be possible to offer the time or doctor you prefer.
Mondays are very busy, so please avoid attending for routine appointments on these days.
- Doctors prefer to see patients in the morning when support services (e.g. blood tests) are available.
- We appreciate your understanding if a doctor is on holiday – please be reasonable with your requests.
Improved Access Appointments
If no appointments are available at your usual surgery, Same Day Access appointments may be offered at other local practices. These clinicians will have access to your full medical history and can update your records.
Our local enhanced access hubs are located at:
- The Vine Medical Practice, 13 Tonbridge Rd, Maidstone ME16 8RL (9am to 5pm Saturday & Sunday)
- Staplehurst Health Centre, Offens Drive, Staplehurst, TN12 0LB (8:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday)
- Barming Surgery, Marigold Way, Maidstone, Kent, ME16 0ZJ (8:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday)
Cancellations & DNA Policy
We kindly ask all patients to cancel or reschedule as early as possible. If you are unable to use Zymego and are registered for text reminders, you can also cancel your appointment by replying to the SMS. Otherwise, please call us on 01580 211241 at least 30 minutes before your appointment time. Missed appointments mean others go without care. On average, 230 appointments are missed each month.
- Appointments cancelled less than 30 minutes in advance will be recorded as a DNA.
- Repeated DNAs waste valuable NHS resources.
