The Old Parsonage Surgery is excited to welcome Dr Tim Skinner.
As we say goodbye to Dr Jeremy Watson, we welcome Dr Tim Skinner as our new partner from August 2021.
Tim has recently moved to the area with his wife and two young daughters, and is already enjoying his new lifestyle in the beautiful Weald countryside. Having grown up in Kent and Sussex, Tim relocated to Malaysia for almost a year to pursue his love of Taekwondo. He competed in many competitions in the UK and abroad for several years, before joining the Met Police for 7 years. One of his roles in the Met Police was as a riot police medic, and it was here that his interest in medicine began. After many years in the Met, Tim took the plunge and started a graduate entry into Medicine at Barts and The London, whilst still serving in the police. Since qualifying he has worked in hospitals and GP surgeries in Kent and Surrey, before deciding to “come home” and settle in the Weald. He and his young family have been enjoying the country walks, visiting local towns and are excited to test out some of the country pubs in the area now restrictions are lifting! Tim brings with him to the practice a lot of energy, enthusiasm and a wealth of wider life experience (in addition to his medical skills!).
